Everyone at Bardee owns a slice of the company, and your vesting schedule and share options are always accessible and transparent.
You will receive ongoing training and support to grow with the company and the food waste logistics. You will have the opportunity to have an active role in designing and managing the collection runs in an efficient and sustainable way working closely with the GM. You will be able to participate in the onboarding process of new customers and manage our bins inventory.
Bardee is reshaping the global food system. To do this we transform food waste into protein and fertiliser with insects. Every tonne of insect protein we produce offsets 50 tonnes of CO2e emissions. And we’re paid four times: to collect and receive food waste at our sites, for high-quality insect protein, for our rich organic fertiliser, and for offsetting carbon under our registered ACCUs project.
We aspire to live by our core values:
Accountability to nature
Speed with integrity
Live passionately, be formidable
Mechanical aptitude and a confident driver with MR license: You understand how the truck works and are able to troubleshoot and resolve minor truck issues. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty to make things work.
A strong commitment to safety and willingness to work as a part of a team: You understand that at Bardee we are all on the same team. As we grow our food collection routes, other tasks on the production floor might be required to be completed.
Customer satisfaction oriented: You are approachable and personable, with a natural ability to communicate with customers.
Flexible to work public holidays or weekends: Bardee operates 7 days a week including most public holidays. While our weekend driver and one of our leaders are able to work on some of those days, you might need to take on some public holiday collections across the year.
